The Mobile Museum

The Mobile Museum is Mortal Ties Collectives way of bringing history and genealogy to children within the community.

What is included During our visit?

  • Each student will receive their own printed copy of The Young Genealogist guide - created by Mortal Ties Collective. The students will learn about the different types of documents and families will be able to complete the workbook together to build their own family history.

  • The Mortal Ties Collective Mobile Museum brings a blend of historical texts, photography equipment, and old photographs to help connect children to the past through documents, photography, and other unique historical items.

The collective is always adding items to add to the uniqueness of each visit.

  • Krystal with Mortal Ties Collective will lead a discussion around genealogy based on the children’s ages. We’ll discuss other ways to learn about our family history.

In addition, Krystal focuses on tying history and genealogy to today through photography and an appreciation for historical items.

We’re bringing genealogy and history to children in Middle Tennessee and West Kentucky.

Bring the mobile museum to your library, classroom, or homeschool co-op.
